PORT ANY CM7 ROM OF GALAXY Y TO GALAXY Y DUOS

Hello, this guide can help you port any cm7 roms of galaxy y to our y duos.

INSTRUCTIONS

1.First you have to download the stock cm7 for galaxy y duos.
2. Next choose any cm7 rom of galaxy y and then download it.

Now you have the both files we can start porting.

3.Extract cm7 for galaxy y duos. Then extract the cm7 rom that you chose of galaxy y.
4.Open the extracted file(the galaxy y duos cm7 rom). And open the "SYSTEM" folder then select these three files:
- Framework
- Media
- App (OPTIONAL: You can take the "Bulid.prop" file if you want).
Delete these three files.
5. Copy these three files of galaxy y cm7 and paste it in CM7 for galaxy y duos.
6. Rezip galaxy y duos cm7.
7. Flash the .zip file by:
-reboot to recovery
-wipe data,cache,dalik cache,battery status.
+Format:
-system
-data
-cache
+Mount
-system
-data
-cache
Then apply the rom.zip that you ported.
Thats it, it is that easy. It worked 90% of the time for me. Some roms I ported are lollipop me, potato cm7.

Cm 11 unofficial For GTS6102 Created by DZB.

This is not my creation the entire credits go to guys at dzb. This thread is created to make gt s6102 users and devs aware of such a rom. I see that this device is well... Dead. But still anyone has the effort to make this rom stable feel free to do so. This is only for Devs!!.
And i am not responsible for anything that happend to you or your device following my instructions.

BUGS:

• WiFi - WiFi works in BETA v4 but sometimes it switches off and comes back on. Doesn't work in BETA v3.
• Offline Charging - doesn't work
• Microphone - Not working properly ( very low quality )
• RIL - doesn't work in BETA v4. Works in BETA v3.
• Charging - very very slow ( probably kernel's problem )
• Camera - Works in BETA v3 but has green patches.
• HW - Works in BETA v3 but lags. Red and blue interchange in BETA v4 but no lag.
• Some other small bugs

How To Install:

1. Download Kernel Bangprovn.zip ( galaxy y's Cm11 kernel) and flash it.
2. Reboot Recovery and format system,data,cache,dalvik,battery status.
3. Mount system,data,cache and flash CM 11 BETA v3 or v4.
4. Reboot Recovery And flash CM 11 BETA version you chose again.
5. Hopefully you received no errors so reboot and wait for 10 min.

FAQ:

• Q: I received error xxxx what do i do.
  A: Do the installation again from step 2. Maybe you will succeed.
• Q: I can't flash a gingerbread rom after this.
  A: Use ODIN and reflash the frimware.

Hey ! guys I am just reproducing the work of team DZB . its not my work.i fond it in their website and I just wanted to share this with you people. The main motive to share it with you is to develop it further to make it fully working with no bug.

I think they have stopped working on it because till 2014 there is no release or post from them, so I want to restart this idea of CM 9 and make it fully working.

HEY GUYS today I am presenting my 1st ROM in front of you. This a ROM which is based on Lollipop theme and is very much stable and Bugless .for making it bugless I have used EVO x-2.1 as base because this is a very great ROM with not even a single problem and is very fast and snappy.

INSTALLATION METHOD:confused:
The setup wizard of the ROM crashes so the installation procedure is sort of long:

2. Then install evo x 2.1 [the procedure is also in the same thread]
3. Then download LOLIGEN ROM from the downloads tab of this thread.
4. Put it in SD card
5. Reboot into recovery
6. Go to cwm recovery
7. Go to “install ZIP from SD”
8. Go to “CHOOSE ZIP FROM SDCARD”
9. CHOOSE THE .ZIP FROM SDCARD
10. install it
11. after installation of the ROM wipe dalvik cache.
12. reboot
13. ROM is ready
14. ENJOY

Hey everyone today i am presenting LOLIGEN 2.1 the update of loligen 2.0. And the best feature of this ROM update is that it supports DUAL sims:D.The much awaited feature of loligen 2.1 series,it is made only for those people who want to use 2 SIMs in there phones but also wanted to use LOLIGEN's stock android experience & Due to high demand i have to launch it.Actually it is a port of DROID MAX ROM of samsung galaxy y S5302 LINK. due to high in demand i have to launch it earlier before any enhancements in it , so i have not customised it much i have just ported it and uploaded here.
SO lets get started.

INSTALLING GUIDE

1. Place the downloaded LOLIGEN 2.1 zip file and CWM Recovery zip file in your phone's sdcard(Don't put in any folder or ext.-SDcard)

2. Now Power off your Phone & boot your phone in recovery by pressing VOLUME UP+HOME+POWER Key Simulteanously for about 3-4 seconds

3. Now you are in stock recovery mode. Use power key to select an option & volume key for up-down.

4.Select "apply update from sdcard" Option & then select the "cwm_recovery.zip" that you have downloaded.

5. Now your stock recovery is replaced by CWM Recovery.

6. Now navigate to "wipe data factory reset" & then click "yes".

7.Simliarly select "wipe cache partition" & then "yes"

8 Now go to "advance" option in cwm. & select "wipe dalvik cache" and then "yes".

9. Now come back in main cwm screen by pressing back softkey of your phone & select "install zip from sdcard" then select downloaded rom file "LOLIGEN 2.1.zip".

7. Now you are in "Aroma Installer" follow on screen instruction to complete installation.

8. After the installation finishes select "reboot system now" in main cwm screen.

And you are done! You have successfully installed the rom.

Sorry for the new thread.. but, as most topics and roms are abandoned, I don't think it would polute much here.

WHAT DO I DO nowadays with a 6102? As far as I've seem, no COMPILED (not ported) rom really made success here, right? So, better to stick with samsungs' kernel and touchwizard?

I don't give a damn for appearance and dual-chip, as long as it's fast/slim and stable. But this lack of internal memory and ram is a pain. What do you recommend?
